The PADI Adventure and Advanced Open Water Certifications are the natural progression after completing the PADI Open Water Course. The Emergency First Response course is a one day course in basic first aid and CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). The course is designed for divers and non-divers alike, and although not diving specific is a pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course as well as fulfilling the requirements for appointed person at work.
