Helicopter Rides


Treat yourself to the most spectacular aerial sights over the island from a helicopter starting at Arrecife airport and heading north over Teguise (the capital of Lanzarote until 1852) passing over the Castillo de Santa Barbara (hill top fort which is now an Immigration Museum) and Teguise’s Church of San Miguel which dates back to 1424, heading north west over San Bartolome flying into the National park of Timanfaya and around the spectacular Fire mountains and volcanoes viewing the amazing Ravens Crater which erupted in 1730 and the other volcanoes and craters that sit in a direct line then you veer out in the direction of the sea, where you loop around towards El Golfo giving you views over the Green Lagoon before heading south over the cliffs and the coastline, passing over Los Hevridores where the island expanded by 17km when the volcanic eruptions back in 1730 reached the sea.
